Warehouse Lynx communicates directly with all major print and apply equipment to enable batch or real-time automated printing of documentation for your items.
Batch printing enables you to configure a run of similar documents to be applied on the same type of products where ordering is not important. This is particularly useful for date labelling and consecutive numbering operations.
Real-time printing enables printing of specific documents for certain items, for example shipping labels, invoices, and return labels. When it’s critical that the correct document is applied to correct item, Warehouse Lynx performs extra integrity checks before and after label application or document insertion. If any issues are detected, Warehouse Lynx can perform actions to automatically correct the problem, or route items to a review station for operators to investigate.
Using the web UI or API you can configure as many document templates as you need. Warehouse Lynx templates are format agnostic, including ZPL, PDF, PostScript, and vendor specific formats, allowing you to use whatever hardware you desire.
Every action taken by Warehouse Lynx is audited at the transport unit level. This lets you keep track of what documents are required for each item and which have been applied and when.
This information is collated in dashboards to show you statistics such as: throughput, number of documents printed, barcode read rates, and much more. As Warehouse Lynx is able to monitor all the equipment used in the processes any active alarms can be viewed in the web UI, alerts can be triggered to get the attention of equipment operators via email, sms, or push notifications.
Over time machine learning algorithms create a model of how your operation is usually performs. Alarms & alerts can be created if it is predicted that a breakdown looks likely, or if you’re operating outside of the usual boundaries.
